Emily Parr Removed from Big Brother House

Emily Parr was removed from the Big Brother house early this morning as a result of using a racially offensive remark toward housemate Charley Uchea.

The previous evening, both Emily and Charley were dancing in the living room when Emily said: “Are you pushing it out n****r?” to Charley.

The comment was not screened as part of the live feed and following a consultation between senior production staff and executives at Channel 4, the decision was made to expel Emily from the house on the grounds of rule breaking concerning housemate behaviour.

Immediately after Emily made the remark, she made it clear it was not intended to cause offence and both Charley and Nicky Maxwell both agreed they were not personally offended by what was said, although they were shocked that she had said it.

After being called into the Diary Room at approximately 3.30am this morning, Emily was removed from the house without the other housemates knowledge and they were not informed of her departure until approximately 9.30am.

Emily was one of two housemates nominated for eviction but her expulsion from the show means there will not be an eviction this Friday night.
